Lomond View Cottage is a charming semi-detached cottage in an idyllic and peaceful location just off a quiet forest road in the heart of The Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park on the outskirts of Aberfoyle. The property provides accommodation for up to 4 people and has a secure and private back garden making it an ideal holiday home for children and pets.

Lomond View is a comfortable, well equipped home with views overlooking Ben Lomond to the north and open fields and forestry to the south. Surrounded by nature and 500km of tracks and paths, it is the perfect retreat for those looking to unwind and relax or perhaps to use as a base for an activity filled adventure. There is something for everybody and your four legged friends to do in the surrounding area, from gentle strolls in the woods to serious hill climbing and munro bagging and for cyclists, safe easy family friendly routes to extreme single track for the more serious mountain biker. A wide selection of maps, information on walks, cycle routes and nearby activities is available for you to read through to help plan your excursions for your holiday.

There are 2 bedrooms available, one double and one twin. The spacious “A” framed double room is located on the first floor and has views over Ben Lomond and a cosy sitting area perfect to sit and read, watch some TV or plan out your itinerary. Downstairs on the ground floor is a twin bedroom with south facing views over the well kept garden. Both bedrooms offer beds with high quality deep mattresses and oversized duvets to add that extra touch of luxury. Also on the ground floor is a large fully equipped kitchen, spacious family bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and open plan lounge with comfy sofas and 42” TV with Netflix and Sky Freeview and dining area with table. The cottage has a fully controllable central heating system throughout making it warm and welcoming on the coldest days and a Stovax high efficiency LPG living flame glass fronted stove in the lounge, giving you all the benefits of a wood burning stove without all the hard work.

The front of the cottage has a glass sun lounge which is ideal for enjoying breakfast on a sunny day or relaxing at the end of a hard days exploring. Open views over the Loch Ard Forest towards Ben Lomond and pretty sunsets can be enjoyed here also. Alternatively, take a seat outside in the secluded south facing garden and take in the peace and tranquility that surrounds you whilst keeping an eye out for any birds and wildlife that often come to say hello.
